The year is half over, and grades are about to close! There are two more assignments due this week:
- 2 Empower3000 articles are due by midnight Thursday.
- The Catcher in the Rye Castle Learning questions Ch. 1-26 are due by midnight Friday.

SAT Vocabulary Quiz #17 is tomorrow, Tuesday, January 17 – study games have been posted on our website.
Empower3000 closes at midnight this Thursday, January 19. Your top two grades starting on Friday, January 13, will be counted.
If you have been absent from class, you are responsible for making up the Catcher in the Rye reading that you missed. So far, Chapters 1-10 have been posted on the Castle Learning study questions.

Happy New Year, everyone! Here are a few things for consideration…
- It’s going to get cold this week and that means our room is going to be invigorating! Feel free to wear your coat, hoodie, etc. – whatever it takes to keep you comfortable!
- There is NO SAT Vocabulary quiz this week. :>)
- There is no Empower3000 due this week. :>)
- There is no blog due this week. :>)
- There IS Castle Learning and Call of the Wild reading due by midnight Friday. :>/
- There are now 1,658 pictures on the main ceiling!

Reminder: Your To Kill a Mockingbird test is this Friday!

Updated grades have been added to the DISTRICT PORTAL only, as I am discontinuing the grades link on my website. Please review your grades, as the school is planning on printing out progress reports this weekend to be sent home.
The next set of To Kill a Mockingbird study questions is due tomorrow, Wednesday, December 7, and your two Empower3000 articles must also be completed by the end of the day.
Next week on Monday is SAT Vocabulary Quiz #14 – study games are online – and another set of Mockingbird questions will be due again.
Remember, you are responsible for keeping up on the To Kill a Mockingbird readings and study questions – the test will be coming up soon!
